I haven't done much riding, but have spent a small sum on some nice MTB accessories.

In the past few weeks, I have bought -

a 2nd hand Camelbak M.U.L.E. (and a reservoir to go in it)
Topeak Hexus multitool
Gore Countdown II jacket 2007.

Also got 661 Veggie shin pads on order from the LBS to protect my legs from brambles, nettles, or pedals.

And inquired at the LBS about getting a 2008 Marin East Peak on finance. Apparently the stock is low.

Help, anyone got any ideas about how to stop spending or dreaming about a new MTB??

There is no known cure, my wife has given up trying to find it smile.gif. The only recommendation is to minimise internet access, keep your credit card in a safe location and avoid any online shopping sites if you've been consuming alcohol.
