Interesting line that, there was perhaps a point usable as a ramp or did he simply bunny hop?

You can't see it in the photo but the first rock sloped so they could ride up it to launch over the second. If you look closely you can see he is taking the racing line.  -------------------- |

Kind of looks like one of those "berm to berm" jumps you get in bike park style trails. Nice
