It was a nice sunny day a little while ago so my mate Michael and I went out to Chopwell and I took my camera. I don't like to do jumps and MTB with my camera as it was a lot of pennies.

I did actually get a LOT of footage, however this was the best stuff and tried to cut it all together so that it looks good and in order.

Some nice shots at really high quality, could do with a bit more of an edit at the beginning, looks a nice spot! cool.gif

Thanks, it can be a nice spot but its quite close to civilisation so a lot of the time you get kids coming down that only want to mess about, not really do any MTB riding. It spoils it, I like going further afield to some where I can leave my camera and not worry about some little kid coming along and cycling off with it.

Which part would you say needs a bit more of an edit?

Get rid of the zoomy in zoomy out bit. Add some tunes to cover up your heavy breathing.

Hmm, I wanted to do it so that you saw the bike going over the drop off and then you saw it from a different angle, so that was my intention tongue.gif

After a few more videos I think I'l get some tunes, but copyright is always something on my mind so got to get a local band to agree to do some for me maybe...

thanks for the suggestions though

I agree with the editing comments. And I don't think music copyright on youtube riding videos is really anything to worry about, the worst that can happen is they'll either mute the soundtrack or remove the video!

Hmm, it would have been soooo much easier with a 2nd or even 3rd camera.

My mate went up and down there about 9 times! I see what you mean with the zooming in and out bit now I've watched it after a while, I think if I remove that then the video will be to short.
