i ordered mine on the 15th of november, split over two over two days to make the packages smaller!

the one on the 15th arrived at home yesterday and the bulkier one with the charger et al ordered on the 16th came today to work.

thats 3.5 weeks innit?

how big was your order glynn? if you did one big order with lots of bits in it, hmrc might come asking for some import tax possibly?

I started tracking when I got my despatched email. When I clicked on the link to HK Mail it clearly stated "package left HK on 15th November".I emailed DX a few days ago and was told it left HK on the 30th so please be patient. Now when I click on tracking it says left HK on 30th!I printed off the original document from HK Mail stating the 15th but if that was wrong and it did actually leave HK on the 30th then it took 22 days from purchase to leaving the Island!
Personally I think it's BS and it has been changed to suit DX.The last time I ordered it was much quicker.

cake and eat it though i guess, we are getting lights which on the uk market would be 70 quid plus for less than 20, so if they are taking a long time im not too bothered as im saving a ton of cash.

as long as they do come!

My magicshine also arrived this morning so it was 36 days from start to finish.According to the tracking system though it's still not in the UK rolleyes.gif
I got the magicshine MJ-808 with new style battery pack for £43 all in which is over 50% cheaper than the ones sold on the UK website (£84.95 +£6.95 p&p) dance.gif

I ordered mine on the 8th November and IIRC glynn six 0 ordered his a few days before me.So the average time door to door is 4-6 weeks.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Beat me to it^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I spoke to postie today and he says there's around 130million packages backlogged compared to the seasonal average of 10million.

err mine was ordered on the 15th and arrived last thurs

some people are luckier than others i guess

but im sure i read somewhere that the people in charge wait a couple of days to get a bulk of the same order then they get it from their supplier cheaper for them and cheaper in bulk.

which may explain why yours didnt turn up as quickly, mainly the need for torches was small and they couldnt be naffed to sort it out more quickly!

It's Christmas nearly and the weather has played havoc with dleliveries which are stacked to the heavens.

Dealextreme are not fast, they are cheap! Recommendation is to order in the Summer not wait until you need them this week therefore bag a bargain. They have never been quicker than three weeks.

Those looking for superior delivery times will be much happier with Lumen Junkies or for batteries and chargers go with Smudge at http://www.mtbbatteries.co.uk/ cool.gif
