Maj, that is where i was on sunday evening. Once you cross the canal, this is porridgepot hill. This looks small on the map, but has loads of maintained singletrack. Gorrick and the army maintain it for races.

If you look on open street maps You can see the single track link with fence line.
Be advised, DONT go under the railway at the maultway/a30 junction... it is foot deep in sticky mud. Go across lightwater park to the M3 walkway and through bagshot (school lane) cross to church road. This takes you in at the bottom of the expert area.
Thinking up and back in a day (early start). Still working on the pass for myself. (basically making it her idea)
Never been, keep getting told I will love it.

Kerr

Kerr, i remember some excellent trails there - scary spice, KT, tank trails etc (not named by me) and some excellent views. It would be awesome to find them again.

Must do wales - i am trying to get a car sorted out. leave 5 in the morning to arrive at 8 ish. 3 hour drive. Should give plenty of time for riding. could always pitch up a tent somewhere and cook food around a camp fire - just a thought.

Hi MbElf, that's local to me so could be interested. Sat is better for me, or if Sunday it'd need to be a real early one so I could get back by around 12.

I know that it's late notice, but I'll be riding at Swinley tomorrow morning. See the new rides/calendar for details.

I was going to holmbury with epic early start at 8. Not sure if he would prefer swinley. Can you start early than usual Andy if Epic wants to swinley instead?

Andy, If i don't hear from epic i will meet you at swinley. I have your phone number.

Some good news - Tim managed to find a job so he should be able to buy a nice full susser now.

Hi guys,

Afraid Swinley is out for me this weekend as I've really got to be back by lunchtime on the dot. If the last few weeks have been anything to go by the M3 is guaranteed to be several miles of carpark around the time I want to get back so I can't take this risk. mbelf - I sent you a PM.

Thanks for the invite, Andy, and sorry I missed it. I didn't get back home until the late hours of the morning (the result of my fruitless endeavours to win over a girl) and when my alarm went off I felt rough and decided to dig in for another few hours. Anyway, I'm just going to get changed and then get out on the bike for an hour or so before I go out again for a barbie. doh.gif Early night tonight, me thinks!

In other news, anyone fancy riding next Saturday morning? I'll make sure I don't go out on Friday, if so.
