Can anyone recommend anything else? Cheers The Recon will fit fine. Presume they are the ones on offer on on-one.co.uk? Without increasing your budget massively I can't think of many alternatives? Maybe these Zocchi Marathons which are only slightly over budget? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=70299 -------------------- Jaws was never my scene and I don't like Star Wars

Cheers Has Mad Pierre has said the Recon will be fine, you could also give feabuy the once over you may fine something slightly higher spec'd for your budget but they will obvisouly be second hand. |

Thanks for your help. I currently have 80mm, if I go to 100mm or even 120mm will that ruin the bike?

Thanks for your help. I currently have 80mm, if I go to 100mm or even 120mm will that ruin the bike? Won't ruin it. A longer fork will slacken the head angle which put simply will make it climb (a little bit) worse but descend (a little bit) better. I'd prob stick to 100 rather than 120 though.... -------------------- Jaws was never my scene and I don't like Star Wars

120mm may well invalidate your frame warranty, you best check.
