In keeping with the recent killer rides.
I propose combining a swinley ride with a porridge pot/tunnel hill ride on sunday.

Gonna need some help from those familiar with porridge pot and tunnel hill but basically linking them with the fence line.

what you all think?

Kerr

I'd be up for it. agree.gif

I'm all fixed now so sounds like a plan - You get us around and out of Swinley, I'll do the PP and TH bit and back to the fence line.

Gonna need the stop at the canal centre cafe !

What time Sunday you thinking ?

Kerr - Top ride yesterday eve.mate, I enjoyed the no stopping ethos and this meant I was back indoors in goods time. agree.gif

Shame your own personal mission to not unclip during the ride was undone by a rather large tree stump. ph34r.gif

Thought I would hurt today, but fine.
Great ride.
Bit greasy in places now with the sprinkling of rain.
Had to recover from a wayward front wheel a few times.

I will do a swinley ride without Unclipping... that is possibly the closest.

Thanks kerr. parkerman

enjoyed it today - still can't believe how dry TH and PP were today compared to swinley despite the heavy rain.

I am really aching now but i reckon Max was ready for more.

Morning all,

Anyone up for a Wednesday evening spin around Swinley? My usual riding buddy can't make it.

It would have to be a bit of a later start (around 7pm) as I've got to get back from London and then out to Swinley.

Nah, I kept falling asleep when I got home. Plus, trying to race up those last slopes on the long fire-road back to the carpark, my legs wouldn't work and I ended up granny ringing them. rolleyes.gif

Planning on heading to Swinley tomorrow aft for only 3rd time this year (money well spent on the annual pass... hoping to make up for it though!) - how are the trails holding up with all the rain we've had?

Not been up there for a wee while now but suspect that the trails can take a good bit more rain before they start turning claggy.....

WD40 is for spraying onto things that you think you should be performing some kind of maintenance on but have no clue where to start or what to do.
