We got out this afternoon on with thel33ter's new singlespeed (In his words his Speedily Singular Thingy), nice to get back from a ride dry and not have to clean tons of mud off the bike.
Planning to join the STW monster ride next Sunday, presumably will see some of you there?

For those who are bored of Swinley already I'm considering to do a loop around Chobham Common on Saturday. It's not technical or particularly demanding but Marc is hoping to come out of retirement and wants an easy re-introduction to riding smile.gif

For those of you who have not been to swinley for a while. Here is a little reminder.

Spring has Sprung in Swinley Forest

Sorry about the heavy breathing but i had to ride ahead and get into position and then try and catch up. Not convinced with the editing software or my Editing. My need to try a different package. If anyone has any suggestions for good editing software, i would really appreciate that.

Enjoy

Great Day!.
Absolutely brilliant to have a dry ride for a change.

Feel a bit guilty about not getting some footage of you Maj sad.gif

That was most bizarre in the labyrinth, you keep popping up round each corner:)

Heres the route for the day

Phil, its only a panasonic lumix tz10 i use for taking stills. Its got good quality video though. I am planning on taking some more footage but its just a bit of fun for me. I had problems trying to export this though - got weird artifacts when trying to export it to hd format.

I might try and create a professional mtbing movie and have floated the idea with some of the swinley regulars. Can't remember if they agreed to it or not. Anyway, working on finding a way of stabalizing the camera and mounting it properly. think.gif

Hey Maj, something like this can help stabilise things whilst still allowing free movement and lightweight, easy deployment etc. It may be a bit overkill but I've used one to good effect.

OK guys. Can we get a head count on who is coming to the singletrack.com mega ride next Sunday...
I am voting that we stuck ourselves in the group with the fit birds stupidlyhappy.gif (which ever one that is and assuming that there are some in attendance)
Can't take mine with me as she refuse to have anything to do with me and riding since I allegedly try to kill of exhaustion on a ride last year innocent.gif
Can anyone planning to come to this get there name on the New Rides thingy so that we can coordinate and sort of find each other an know if anyone is missing as I thing it is going to be very very busy
Also as the ride meet up is @ 11:30 on a sunny Sunday (I already pass an order with the power that be) it might be wise if we all just head for the Esporta parking lot acros the road to park are regroup before joining the ostriches (tall birds with long legs)

I also hope that my bike will fair better at the end of the ride that this Sunday
