short for time,so gonna fly from edale up hollins cross, over mam tor, across rushup edge and down chapel gate through barber booth and back to edale,
starting about 1.30pm weather permitting anyone up for it, ? |

started on my own at 2pm
got half way to 3/4 up hollins cross and got stuck in the worst thunder / hail storm i ever been in!! Hail was the size ot marbles, and didnt half sting your legs with just shorts on!!! But i made good time down hollins cross descent haha, never pedalled down hill that quick before, was really cacking it - when that lightning started, didnt think it was a good idea being sat up on hollins cross in that haha!!Going to try do a big circle from edale on friday, from edale- hollins cross, mam tor, roych clough mount famine and back via jacobs ladder, hehe - thats if the weather allows me to get my work done this week by thursday.. busy saturday, any one who can make it is welcome, my bro in law will possibly be with us too and is new to it all so have to wait a bit at bottom and top for him but allows for a nice easy pace, or lots of little rest stops if you get way ahead! Probably start from edale station at 9-10.. but like i say will no later in the week if i have friday off so will let you know, if you fancy it though let us know |
