Ah well today I rode to my Local forest Expecting to have a easy ride through some basic not to Technical Tracks , with a Super fit 50 something and a not so fit 60 something ..

To my Horror after riding 8.5 miles to get to the Forest at a fair pace I saw no older rider just the 50 something guy and two younger fit ass riders sad.gif

But oh boy I have got a taste back for the Single tracks again , although the pace was slow by my mates it was damn hard work for me , I'm way of where I was when I stopped riding but hell , I'm better than I though I would be , took me awhile to get back into the tight sweeping bends and I had a few occasions where I had to bail for the more tech parts , but 10 miles of semi to hard Tech tracks was mind blowing smile.gif

I'm still grinning now Whilst I was dialed in it was great I slowly built up my confidence and relaxed , although I did run out of steam and Had to return home after we stopped for Tea , which was the right choice as this was only my 4th ride and it was damned hot !!

The Hardrock is proving to be a good runner , its a bit of a triggers broom with only the frame and seat clamp being Stock , but it has a good feel and Im at home with how it feels , I can see myself upgraded later in the year or for next year when I should be on better form ..

I'm doing better than I expect and because of all the changes my body is going through I'm not going to jump off the deep end ...

My Medication is giving me no problems at all , I have lost 3 stone since the beginning of march so I hoping that I shall hit under the 100kg sometime this year .. and when I get to that weight I shall think its time for a treat smile.gif

Q: How does he stay upright at that speed?
A: He doesn't. Well not always. And the consequences have been horrendous!

Eyup Dave smile.gif Long time no see. It's about time you were bringing that bike up to proper riding country.
