Having ridden at Long Mynd earlier in the week on Mick`s ride, Bill (C55) kindly showed a few of us around! here is a clip of a couple of the hidden runs which were great fun! i`m still putting all the footage and photos together to make one big clip.
Hidden DH, Long Mynd Ned and Beef are the the 2 featured riders. 2 other clips from the day Small Batch to Little Stretton descent Minton batch descent -------------------- |

Those Small Batch and Minton Batch descents look really fun, bet the climb up is nackering though. Hopefully a Long Mynd ride pops up over my easter break so I can give it a go.

Does the final descent on the video start near the end of the fireroad climb heading back up to the glider club?
If so I have always fancied that. -------------------- Self control has just expired..............................

If it is in the woods on the right as the fireroad comes back on itself then I think we are thinking of the same place Mick.

I know where you mean but the one in the video comes out about 20 metres before that one. You can't see the exit from the fire road, as it's hidden by trees, mind you can't see the entrance to it either! -------------------- |

Had a go on that hidden DH bit today, this video really doesn't show how steep it suddenly gets as you hit that left turn! Suffice to say, I minced down it very slowly
Dunno what the names of all the descents we rode were, but Minton Batch was easily the best! |
