An oyster is about as close to the clam as I'll be getting at the moment... Black, black, black. Black like the darkness of space leading to the chasm of clams ... IGMC -------------------- Dr Bike takes no responsibility for damaged limbs or failed relationships as the result of his advice.

Looking forward to getting back to Swinley tommorow but suspect there will be a lot of puffing & panting on my part.
BTW bit of an article on Swinley in this months IMB magazine. -------------------- WD40 is for spraying onto things that you think you should be performing some kind of maintenance on but have no clue where to start or what to do.

Sorry guys, gonna have to pull out of this one. I discovered an unavoidable calendar clash last night with something I'd arranged well prior to this ride. Apologies all round, I'll look forward to catching up with you all at the next one.

I’ll be there, ready and looking forward to to getting muddy, just got to make sure I can avoid the pub tonight otherwise it’ll be another day of shouting at hills and cursing my legs.
I’ve also finally got round to rebuilding the Cotic so I’ll be debuting the new Florence and the Machine colourway and burly Wales spec. I fear it may have been premature to take the mud tyres off though. |

I’ll be there, ready and looking forward to to getting muddy ... Can I tap you for a lift (as usual). It should give me impetous to get up in time. I think that it will be a coughers and wheezers ride since it seems like we're all out of shape. -------------------- Dr Bike takes no responsibility for damaged limbs or failed relationships as the result of his advice.

Certainly can. 8-8:15 OK? Yarp. SMS/Call me when you set off to make sure I'm not catching ZZZzzzz's. I'm hoping I can do some wheel/tyre swapping this afternoon to make sure the bike is "togged up" appropriately for the conditions. -------------------- Dr Bike takes no responsibility for damaged limbs or failed relationships as the result of his advice.

Will do. Might be best to try and fit some little boats to the wheels. Just taken delivery of my new tyres, Minion 2.5 for the front and High Roller 2.5 for the rear, they are tubeless tyres and just got the strips and valves for me rims today as well, no sealant though dont suppose anyone could bring some, if they have some going spare ? Or do halfords do it ? |
