Not so much a lens as the system is based on a reflector so it's just plain glass. Not seen spares available as the whole unit is only £20 it's as cheap to replace the torch as the front of most lights.

Having said that others here have DIY'd a replacement from plastic and had good success. cool.gif

jewel cases i have plenty of, and a dremel..

luckily for me i have two torches as the glass was proper shattered and once i unscrewed the cap the glass just fell into the bin.

ill get the 2nd one out and make loads from the case smile.gif

thanks for that gareth smile.gif

the jewel case thing was a success, the plastic isnt as clear as glass but for the cost of NOWT! plus charging time for the dremel, i can certainly live with it!

I don't think there would be a noticable drop in output with this trick and bonus it should prove stronger than the original. sun.gif

well the plastic is thicker and ive cut a few now as im worried the other one will break too.
its not a perfect circle, marked the circle with the lens and a felt pen then used a dremel to cut it out.
took about 10 mins to smooth the edges

Mine is still going strong btw, just a tiny bit of misting now on the "lens" so I might make another at some point, but it's a year old so fair dos stupidlyhappy.gif

yeh im surprised how well it works tbh. and in all honesty i didnt pick the most pristine jewel case either.

i think its worth me getting the lens out of the other p7 and make a stencil out of it in case that breaks too
