Recently riding with my galaxy S (or S 2), it is annoying stopping every time to check the trail...
Anyone can recommend any mount/holder? there are many in ebay - not not sure which would be better in terms of quality etc. |

I do like the look of that holder. I think you should get one and let us know how you get on with it :-)
I used to use a RAM mount as a GPS holder on my off road motorbike and that was good as the vibration damping was done through the ball joint. This mount looks like it does similar with the swivel mount. Hmmn I might get one ... -------------------- rgds

OK I ordered it let see how is that. you mentioned dirt bike, I can't believe that you can have something mount to it stable, especially if you do jumps etc, I use to have a dirt bike and did some mx, that is why I can guess |

Problem with mounting any gadget like that is what happens if you crash. Had a fair few and any gnarly ride is a risk.
Keep mine in the Hawg. Don't tend to get it out to check the route much, except if I'm off exploring on my own, or exploring Tunnel Hill where I get lost often! Survived my fun crash and tracked my route to Frimley hospital whilst in the bag. Got a bit confused being in the ambulance though -------------------- |

Got a bit confused being in the ambulance though but I am not gonna ride too fast whilst using gps, cos it is only when I am taking someone (usually my wife to Swiley) to somewhere, and I never do any crazy rides at theses times, but only when with some guys so it is pretty relaxation rides. |

got it!
guys are so fast, ordered yesterday afternoon and got it today in the morning. itching to check it out, looks very stable, the only thing I worried about, not let the phone to fly off away on little bumps and it seems it can't cos besides proper holding it has a tension band that goes over the phone. |
