Well it won't be muddy 'cause the Long Mynd rarely is, but it could be very wet if we have heavy rain and if it rains on the day like it has on a couple of occasions I've been up there recently it'll be miserable. I'll let you know nearer the time.

Minton Batch in the wet on slicks after several hundred people have been down should be fun ohmy.gif

I'm doing a Mick and coming on the Sunday but will probably sign on on Saturday afternoon. You should be able to get some signal, even though it is shropshire! What distance is everyone doing, I was going for the 45 but have change it for the 80km now but today's training run beginning to regret it bit I've got to get some distance in because i' m doing a 100 km @ the end of July

I'm definitely doing the 80km, even though I've not been on the bike for a week as I have Epididymitis stretcher.gif (look it up) but the antibiotics should have it sorted.

Can't decide whether to take the caravan for the weekend or just pop over on the Sunday, depends a bit on the weather.

well that was a tough ride in warm conditions.i and several others commented that we were pretty glad that the 80k ride was only 65k on the day, even if you feel that youve been short changed. a great place to ride tho with some nice technical and steep descents, as well as long tough climbs.
thanks to mrs. mick for the supply of teas and marmalade sandwiches
