Excellent, really looking forward to it... Maj, if no one else comes and you still fancy going Im sure one of us can jump in with you to keep you company Well organised FA, did you have flapjacks on the list??!! Cheers Ben, I will probably bore you to sleep with my ramblings. There are other riders so should be ok. Once we get there, any idea what loops we are going to do? I was wondering if we should try and meet up with some of the Cannock chase regulars that are on this forum Anyway, well done for organising it all FA. Really appreciate it. cheers Maj |

There's a half decent cafe on site , but don't let that stop you bringing along any chockie crispy things !
There's also drinking water taps both out side the cafe & on a caravan site half way round , so no need to kill yourself carrying 3KG of water up from the Royal County . Saying that 2hrs moderate riding is about 1.5L even on a moderately warm day , that is forecast . I recall most of Cannock being hard pack or sandy , so hoping it drains well ! See you there , 09:30 Sunday ! FA - No saying you can't make it because of work if it's a little rainy , like you did this evening ! |

Sophie has made more chewy monkey bar things, which are awesome! If we are stopping at the cafe that suits me otherwise I'll make a packed lunch if everyone else is. I'll be sanding floors tomorrow so I've got a busy day ahead!
Oh and Maj, be good to see you. Even though I saw you last night driving past focus but you didn't see me! |

' Chewy monkey bar things'...... now they do sound good! im not too fussed where we eat, just dont want to be the one who stands there empty handed whilst every one pulls out a full on picnic! could be tempted at the cafe for a brunch greaseathon!
Looking forward to catching up with everyone, Ive brought enough chain links that even FA couldnt use them all in one ride |

It'll be a mahoosive bowl of Shreddies the night before for me and will be packing homo nut bars for the trails. But a quality fry up is in order at some stage of the day. |

is there a cafe there? The Cafe at Marquis Drive (just up the road) is better than the one at Birches Valley IMO Birches Valley is ok but only really do sandwiches, toasties, sausage rolls etc whereas Marquis Drive has a bigger better selection -------------------- On One 456
