Went for a quick blast round swinley this evening. The trails are in top condition - dry, sticky and no dust - yes no dust.
If you thinking of cycling around swinley - now is the time to do it. Enjoy. |

Hi,
I have been trying to learn Swinley over quite a few trips now. However, every time I go, I seem to find a lot of whole new sections and none of the stuff I found before. On one of my trips, I found a cracking sections of berms that looped around trees in a small cutting with some cracking single track on either side. If I remember correctly, it was not too far from Sandy Cutting but I may be wrongs as I was too busy enjoy myself to clock the distance. Any help finding it again would be greatly appreciated. |

Had hoped to join you chaps on Thursday but I seem to have picked some sort of bug up which started with throwing up at the weekend and has now settled down to a generally dodgy/gurgly stomach and a feeling like someone has sucked out all the energy from my legs and arms. Had one day off work and back now but the idea of getting out on the bike doesn't sit well at the moment. (Mentally i'm there / physically i'm fubarred!!) - Next time hopefully!
Hope those of you who did Afan last weekend had a good one!?! -------------------- WD40 is for spraying onto things that you think you should be performing some kind of maintenance on but have no clue where to start or what to do.

Finally managed to get down to Swinley this afternoon with the sun out. Must say, the tracks are pretty perfect at the moment after that rain we had the other day...

I'm doing a Thursday ride this week (5:45 start) but might join you at the weekend too weds is a problem as Im car less (service/mot stuff). But count me in for 5:45 thursday. Im guessing this is our usual "go as fast as possible until one of us throws up" kinda pace? Kerr |

In keeping with the recent killer rides.
I propose combining a swinley ride with a porridge pot/tunnel hill ride on sunday. Gonna need some help from those familiar with porridge pot and tunnel hill but basically linking them with the fence line. what you all think? Kerr |
