Hi all

My new light has come with a 6 degree reflector, and i am concerned the beam is a little narrow.

what do folks think is the best reflector size?

I use a 13 degree, but I've seen people with a 6 degree and although it's different, I don't think it will affect your riding that much. 6 degree will give you better penetration forwards, wider beams will give better peripheral vision. You'll just have to ride faster with a narrower beam sneaky.gif

It all depends how bright your light is and where you mount it. Low power lamps are best helmet mounted with a narrow beam. As you move in to brighter lights there is enough light for a broader beam. For handlebar mounting broad beam is best or a combination of broad for closer up and narrow to point further out. I would still want the narrow beam on my helmet though thus having one of each.
