OK, just gone live with the changes. It should work if you hit refresh (or log off then on again).

This is an approved IPB mod rather than me just hacking up the forum myself, so it should be stable. I think Gareth is going to be taking new feature requests at some point, but bear with me as I get up to speed with the code and find out what is easy to change and what is not. Now we have a working test server we can try out stuff offline and hence massively reduce the risk of breaking things on the live site.

That just really confused me (not difficult!). Just went back to the homepage after browsing and thought I'd got to the gallery, and again, and again. Then realised rolleyes.gif

Nice work Bob.

Phil, could you elaborate more? I'm running FF 2.0.0.7 here with no problems. Can you try a full refresh (Ctrl + F5)? Unlike the regular F5 refresh, this overrides the local cache and should clear up the problem, hopefully?

It's all working fine for me now thanks Bob! stupidlyhappy.gif

Both old and new banners were showing superimposed at first but a refresh fixed it.

I wonder whether it might be worth losing the pretty whitespace at the top of the page (I put it in like that) to regain the mountain tops on the banner picture? wink.gif

I too am running FF 2.0.0.7 with no probs as I think most s/w developers do use. just a preference thing most of the time.

Phil. Can you do help->About whilst in firefox to give us the version that you are using.

Sorted now, I had only done F5 which didn't help

ctrl F5 fixed it for me as well, though now the banner is a bit more squished than it used to be. (actually cut the top off.. I can get before:after pics if you want)
