Endura Venturi Event 3/4 Trousers
Hurra. A few weeks ago I was out in my local trails, it wasn't raining, but the trails were very wet, and I got absolutely soaked - specifically my crutch (!) and my backside. (I dont use a crud catcher front or rear - maybe I should So............. I have invested in a pair of these - and what a cracking pair of shorts they are. Enduras Venturi trousers are made from the trademarked 'Event' material. They are billed as 100% waterproof, with great breathability. First impressions are that they are surprisingly thin. At first I thought that maybe this was a bad thing, but having ridden in them for a while now, I like this. It makes them light, dry quickly and it allows you to wear a variety of shorts / tights underneath without it all becoming too bulky. Up until now I've worn 3/4 length kickers underneath them but as it gets colder will probably switch to full leggings. The 3/4's come to just below my knee (I'm 6.00) but dont ride up my leg. The bottom of the trouser has a small velcro tab that can adjust the size where it sits on your calf. The waist has a fairly substantial pop stud and a belt with a meaty click buckle. There are pockets on each side with taped zips making them completely waterproof. Out on the trail, the event material makes them just a little noisy as you pedal. But that aside, they are so light, you would hardly know they're on. Today its been pretty wet again and they have performed brilliantly. ![]() Did about 25 miles today and they have breathed like a completely normal pair of shorts. The photo was taken a few hours after I have got home and doesn't really show how wet they were when i got off the bike. ![]() As you can see from the inside they are absolutely bone dry. Below shows the taped zips on the pockets. ![]() At about £90 off the net, these trousers aren't cheap, but as a functional bit of kit for all year riding they're a class act -------------------- Valentino Rossi e numero uno (e ora campione del mondo - Yee-Har)
