I've been doing a couple of spinning classes a week at my local gym for the past year and it's definitely made a difference to my max efforts on the bike. I used to do interval sessions on the turbo trainer at home, but it gets boring and the dude who takes the spinning classes pushes me much harder than I could push myself.

I really enjoy spin classes. It helps push you back that little bit futher that you would onyour own.
If the last two classes have been easier you haven't been pushing hard enough! |

If the last two classes have been easier you haven't been pushing hard enough! haha thats what the hot little lady who takes the class was saying. something very nice about being shouted at by a very curvy lady whilst Im about to have a heart attack. Wooo, which one you doing? february one mate, you doing it? should be a laugh, hope the course isnt as bad as the last one you did -------------------- |

Race day is on Sunday, but they tape up the course on the Saturday so that you can practice it. But if it's anything like last time they changed parts of it on the Sunday morning and it rode completely differently as the day went on due to the mud!
I'm hoping to be a little more competitive this time but I fully expect to come last out of us MTBB'ers seeing how much time you're spending on the bike these days. |
