Making a break from the Swinley routine and riding local XC this Thursday evening. Ride posted in the usual section
 Loop will take in Pangbourne-Woodcote-Goring. some good wooded single-track + small ups/downs. Actual route still TBC but will loosely follow one of MBR’s routes done a few years back. http://www.mbr.co.uk/route_maps/southern/b...cle_252222.html Would say 75% off road for this one. Nothing too difficult and just right for a Thursday evening jaunt. Expect to be out 2-3hrs… lights might be advisable for the later part of the ride

Kerr, Graham – cheers for coming over yesterday evening and nothing better to finish the ride sat by the river with a pint.
 As for the ride… perfect trails that just begged more speed and good to be still buzzing the day after, I'll be doing this ride again soon. |

Great ride!
Some excellent decents! I genuinely feel a bit pooped today. My back is not quite mended, it certainly slowed me down toward the end. The ride was 23Miles. I did 31 miles as I rode from sonning. http://www.binfieldbikers.co.uk/routes/tes...ilternsride.gpx Must be done again! Kerr |

Gutted,
won't be able make this now Had a big off yesterday, did not see a pot hole and went flying over the handlebars. Feeling it today, can't raise my hands above my head at the moment with pain. Bike needs repairing once i am fixed up. Wanted to do this last year but could'nt, missed it again. enjoy Maj |

Hey Maj, why not get the bike in for repair whilst you can't ride it? If you need a hand, shout.
And I think pothole is a bit of an understatement...it was about 8 inches deep. More like a crater!
