Had a big off yesterday, did not see a pot hole and went flying over the handlebars. Ouchy! Hope you're OK mate? -------------------- WD40 is for spraying onto things that you think you should be performing some kind of maintenance on but have no clue where to start or what to do.

Yeah, some bruised ribs and back pain but apart from that fine thanks. Good to see you back on the forum So 27 miles, how long did it take and how much actual riding had one main stop for mechanical problems. just dead on 4 hours (went over carpark ticket by 10 mins). Its funny how its less accent than a 13 miler in swinley, but far more grueling as every climb is long slog. Im inspired to get away from swinley and get some more gruelling rides in. Planning turville 3:30pm tues day. Kerr |

Kerr Less accent, really...i've been bragging how there is more climbing than W2... don't ruin it for me Would love to ride Turville tomorrow but qtr end at work so no chance Which way did you go? Clockwise, starting with the long (long, long) hill out of Whitchurch, or anti clockwise following the river east? Looks like an epic route. It was clockwise, so we went up through Whitchurch village and then turned left down harstlock bridleway (so avoided the long slog) we then rode the bridleway high above the thames (btw, steps have gone This is my local ride so happy to ride again. |

Some great rides around there.
I did one starting from Wendover, Combe Hill area that was in MBR in 2001!!!!.... was all hills and boy some of them are gits!.. but you knew once got to top you had a nice downhill! -------------------- "I've decided that with my life i don't intend to get to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid across the line broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, leaking oil, shouting GERONIMO!"

Nice one Kerr. I bet those wooded trails are fast as at the mo.
I would have joined you yesterday but I opted for a late ride over swinners. |
