does anyone have one of these?

http://sport-cam.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=MD80

If so, how the hell do you get your 'puter to recognise it as a flash drive / usb drive thingy... as it says it will in the instuctions.

I'm not expecting great results but was expecting it to work! unsure.gif

I'll give it a go.

And yes, same place for me too! 7dayshop has some daft deals on especially on batteries and chargers.

And hopefully micro SD card reader / converters agree.gif

that's pretty much what I thought... if it is crap then £20 aint too big a sum to lose.

As for quality... I still can't say yet.

This is more or less the same as the Veho Muvi that I've got (and a few others on this forum too). Quality is acceptable when you consider the size of the thing. Make sure that you get a decent micro SD card (type 4 or better) so that the transfer speed is fast enough.

The device has a mini USB connection on the bottom that you use for downloading and charging.

The trickiest thing was finding a decent, secure place to mount it so that it wasn't shaking and was pointing in the right direction. For some reason the vid I did experimenting with different mount points isn't working, but here's a clip of a very boring bit of ride with some muzak (I used Windows Movie Maker to edit and add the sound).

LOL... just gone to try mine and I appear to have lost it????? disgusted.gif

EDIT:

Having turned the world upside-down I made the statement "Well, the only place I haven't looked is in my works fleece, and I can't find that either"

5 secs later I was pointed to where my fleece was and yes indeedy there was the camera.

Out with the SD card and into the converter and IT LIVES!

Just need some weather that's fit to go out and ride now! rolleyes.gif
