Despite a little rain overnight, it was still good out there today and the damp has provided a bit more grip on the loose bits.
First experience of mud though in a very long time. Not much, and still the usually permanently muddy sections are dry. -------------------- |

Note that the local church folk get irritated with people parking there, especially on a Sunday. Give it a go but they may have a moan. Always find Westcott a hassle to park and they don't make you welcome.

Westcott villagers will post a note on your car asking you to park somewhere else next time , they do provide a map
. At weekend it is best to park elsewhere, there is a carpark towards Dorking. If I want to ride Leith at the weekend I tend to park in Holmbury and ride up Leith via Greenlands Way.Enjoy the ride, I'm nursing sore legs after 2 days in Peak District, doing a very short ride today ! |
