Does anyone know what the difference between the regular Panaracer and the cheaper "sport"line of tyres is.
I'm guessing there is a performance difference somewhere. They are relatively cheap & I need a new tyre but I'm skint at the moment. I am tempted by a rampage 2.3 from wiggle. My main worry is that they are made from such hard (cheaper) rubber that they will not provide the grip over wet roots etc. Thanks -------------------- The names have not been changed - no one was innocent....

Article in MBUK suggests the cheaper option tyres have a higher "plastic" content so are less grippy no sure if this applies in this case,
However they are doing the best alround tyre on the planet Minnion 2.35 42a SP for a few quid more. Or for the same price from here |
