looks alright to me ... and that lever will easily straighten with the help of a ring spanner
let it run its course cos it may not reach its reserve and you may get a bargain, see what the bidding is like and hold off till the last 10 seconds (you know the game -------------------- who the F*** let me in here???

the guy says its a 2005 model and he bought it second hand from a shop, will an old bike like that still be good? it doesnt look bad no rust on chain or gears etc im just wondering now if im prepared to pay £200 for that am i better finding the little bit extra and buying what glynn_six suggested and getting a new GT - this one http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/products.php?plid=m1b0s2p3348 or will this specialized still be better as back in its day would have been alot more expensive than the GT??

the specialized will prolly ride better than the GT but £200 or hopefully cheaper is as much as you should be paying IMO ... you gets what you pay for

Obviously I'm a bit late as the auction has ended, did you buy it?
I'm approximately 6ft 2. My bike is 21 inch and that's pretty big so that should be fine. It's really down to the length of your legs and torso really. My advice is to try the bike if you can, but size charts generally help as a rule of thumb Size chart link Hope this helps for future reference -------------------- |
