We are starting the ride from Cadair View Lodge, which sits in Trawfynydd Holiday village. If you have been to Coed y Brenin before imagine leaving the Cyb centre and turning left onto the A470 heading towards Trawsfynydd and Porthmadog. You drive up the hill for about two miles and you will come into a very small village called Bronaber. Almost immediately you will see a sign for a right turn into the Holiday village. Take this turn and proceed up the hill for about 500 yards. As the road goes around to the left you will see a right turn signposted Trawsfynydd Holiday Village. Take this turn. Drive past the shop on you right and then as the road bears left to take a sharp left turn (almost doubling back on yourself) towards the electricity sub station. We are in cabin 84 which will have a Green Fourtrack outside of it. Any problems call me on 07970 516752

The Green Heifer weighs in at a tad under 25 miles. For those of you who have tasted the Pink Heifer you will enjoy the 'Extras'. We estimate it will take 6 hours or so with fuel stops. Christine and the crew at Dolfrwynog tea gardens are expecting us early afternoon so put some money in the bag for tea and cakes!! Make sure you pack enought food/fluid etc as you will need it. And just remember 'Slipper Dipper' is waiting for you on the final loop home - be warned -save some energy.

Note after Thursday night I will be leaving my homebase in Wrexham and taking the Tardis back up to the cabins. As BT aren't due to check out our phoneline up there until saturday afternoon that means I wont be able to answer email after Thursday. Make sure you have my mobile number and contact me via phone after Thursday if you have any questions or need anything.

Look forwards to seeing you on Sunday

Ray

P.S. coffee/tea and biscuits await your arrival and we will make a number of cabins available for shower facilities after the ride. So bring your soap on a rope.....and the big towel.

Hmmm - anyone else find this disturbing - being invited to a strange log cabin in some remote Welsh hillside?

Only if you spend all of your time living alone, watching DVD's that arrive in plain brown packages would this disturb you....

Anything you want to tell us Ben?

The rest of us are looking forward to a good days biking....

...Actually I always wondered what those industrial strength yellow rubber gloves were doing at your cottage in Muker..... that story about corrosive dish water never did ring quite true......

Honestly, you put on a pair of gloves ONCE to do a simple D&C on a passing ewe and you never hear the last of it! tongue.gif
