We've now got a new menu item called "My Rides". This lets you join or leave up and coming
forum rides and provides a single location to see who else is coming.

It's got the following new features:

- members viewing the list see the date, location, rider list and comments of upcoming rides
- ride organisers see the above, PLUS useful contact details (e.g. mobile, car number)

In addition:

- the user Control Panel has a new page for adding mobile number and ride contact details, if you wish
- the member Profile page will display all the rides a member has been on

To create a ride, the organiser needs only to create a calendar event as at present. The ride will appear in the "My Rides" page automatically. The new feature should help organise things a little more. It won't replace the current rides posts, but should work well alongside them hopefully!

Nice one Bob. I miss the record i used to have as attending more rides than anyone for forum rides. I guess it would of been over taken by now but it was a nice thing to have in your profile.

WD40 is for spraying onto things that you think you should be performing some kind of maintenance on but have no clue where to start or what to do.

For some reason I can't add my GSM number or vehicle details when I join my own ride sad.gif

Any idea why?

[EDIT]
Doh! I know why now, and have resolved said issue. I'll get my coat.

You do realise that only the ride organiser can see the mobile numbers of those who are attending, yes? think.gif

[Raising a dead post here because it's not really worth a new one]

Small fix: the rides lister will now automatically add the organiser's name to the ride list once the event has been created in the calendar. Should have done this in the first place really.
