Full Version: new discovery?
MTB Britain > Other Stuff > The Lounge
old dude
when in warncliff woods a few months back,
came across this little creature,
in real life it just did,nt look possible,
i honestly thought it could have been a new discovery,
it was a like a little kitten with a pair of wings,
shouted out for the camera, as i did,nt want to lose it,
and luckily enough it was,nt getting spooked, so i managed to get some photo,s
so, back home and start googling,
still thinking [wishfully thinking] that i had discovered a new species, and i was going to get it named after me,
old twatus twatus, would look good in the science/zoology books, me thinks,..??
i googled moths,
there,s over a thousand British moths,
i,ll be dead before i got through that lot, but my luck was in, in appeared in the top ten,
it,s a puss moth, not rare at all , but i hav,nt come across one before,
if you do happen to find one, belive me, it,s certainly a sight,
it does look like it,s name, uncannily so in fact, you won,t forget about it,...

Nice close up, I thought it should be called a bunny moth, looks more like a rabbit. think.gif
