has any one heard of these fancy doing some night riding soon and these seem to have good reviews managed to get them for 71 quid from merlin

No idea, my bike lights are all DX sourced, but just see how they go, I like a head/hemet lamp as well with a longer throw, plus a cheapo cap brim led light for close up stuff..

Not really that powerful at 240L(120L per unit) but would be OK for commuting.There's loads of stuff from DX/Magicshine etc for less money offering 900L+ output.
Depends what you're using them for?
