Description
Plas
Isa, a grade II listed building is a 16th century town house which has
been carefully renovated to retain all it's old charm whilst providing
spacious, comfortable and user friendly accomodation. The house has a
large sitting room / TV room with four wonderfully comfortable sofas; a
fully equiped kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and
seating for 16; a shower room; a games room with darts board and full
sized pool table; four bedrooms each sleeping four people and one
sleeping eight, that can be rented out individually for smaller sized
groups. With gas central heating and a permanent supply of hot water
(no cold showers even if you're the last one in!). You're in for a
comfortable stay.
A secure room within the main building provides for safe storage of bikes.
Plas Isa is situated in Dolgellau town centre with a good choice of pubs, restaurants
Just
seen the caption at the bottom of the page about Plas Isa saying you'd
appreciate some feedback on the place. All I can say is I've been there
about 6 times now and I'm due back there at the end of the month. We've
shared it with other groups when we have been unable to totally fill it
and we've never had any problems or heard a bad word said about it. The
showers are all great, the kitchens excellent and the living areas are
all perfect for relaxing with a few beers after a hard day. The hotels
in the area are all excellent places to eat and drink (the one opposite
the front door is our favourite but the name escapes me!), however,
take care when crossing the road as there seems to be quite a high
population of boy racers that fly around the place! I'm not too
clued up on other accommodation in the area as we've always been well
looked after by Dafydd & Sian.
I hope this information helps!
